TouchKit Controller Supports Display Rotation
(Taipei - October, 2003) TouchKit Inc., today announced that all series of touch panel controllers support display rotation function which makes use computer convenient and fun.
It becomes more and more popular to build touch panel function into portable devices, especially in notebooks and tablet PC are taken as the new generation business tools. With the touch panel rotation, users can easily discuss with each other not only through oral conversation but also keyboard and touch panel. That makes communications more efficient and less misunderstood.
Due to large demand of display rotation, TouchKit provides the easiest way to rotate the touch panel while the display is rotated.
The following are some features of display rotation function:
1. Supports all rotating LCDs
2. Supports Pivot series rotating programs.
3. Supports rotating orientations: 90 and -90 landscap.
4. Support multiple monitors.
TouchKit provides a full range of controllers for both analog resistive and capacitive touch panels. The controller communicates with the system through RS232ˇ˘PS2 ˇ˘USB ˇ˘I2C port. The design is optimized for an accurate, sensitive and quick touch performance as well as an ease of use interface. The driver emulates the mouse functions, and supports lots of operating systems, i.e. Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP, Win CE, DOS, iMac and Linux.
